Dog Photography Session by the Golden Gate Bridge

When Lady’s mom requested a photo session by the beach with the Golden Gate Bridge, I knew Crissy Field would be perfect for them! We met earlier than I normally shoot, just in case the fog would roll in, and we certainly got lucky!

Lady is a rescued terrier-mix, who can be a little shy. I’m happy she warmed up and was so happy in front of the camera! During the pandemic, she has been her mama’s sanity and also got a lot closer to dad. 💕

Lady and her parents were moving out of San Francisco so they wanted me to capture images that will always bring them back to the place they called home for the past several years. Not to mention they have a little baby arriving this November so a baby-bump photo with the whole family was a must!

We took our time and walked around Crissy Field, from the beach to the picnic area, and captured more family moments with Lady!

Lo and behold, when I turned around and saw the city lit up behind us, we had to capture that as well! How many landmarks can you identify? I love Lady’s pose and expression in the second image below, it conveys so much emotion…

As the photo session was coming to an end, we reached even closer to the bridge. I am so thrilled to capture this special moment in time for Lady and her parents. I am now certain they left a little piece of their heart in San Francisco. 🌉
